Getting to Placencia is easy.  Regular flights come into the Placencia Airstrip several times a day as do public bus services.  Placencia can also easily be reached by sea or road.  You can even find private boat and van charters that will bring you to Placencia.  Another option is traveling from Cancun.  Buses run from Cancun to Chetumal and Mexico Belize border where you will find yourself in Corozal town.  From there buses and flights are available to Belize City and then on to your final destination – Placencia
